Who I Am.
I am a creative designer, living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area. My career began, working as an intern in Sacramento, California at an ad agency. Once I started designing, I was hooked for life. The planning, the strategy, branding, illustration, wireframes, print ads, email, social media, it was everything that I crave. I was never the best student, I just felt lost, and as if I had no idea what wanted to do, but when I did find design, I wanted to learn everything about it. It's crazy to me that I have spent the last 10 years of my life working in design.
My family - I come from a family of eleven siblings, with parents that have stayed together through thick and thin. My father is a pastor, and my mother is a teacher. Six of my siblings are adopted. My family is very important to me. Since there are so many of us, the demographics covered by my family alone is super vast. So sometimes, I design as if the project is for one of them.
Badger - I adopted Badger from the East Bay SPCA off of Hegenberger in Oakland. He was a star in the puppy bowl during the 2016 Super Bowl. His whole litter was available for adoption, and we picked him. We got him at 16 weeks old.
He’s a great dog, and I spend most of my time, outside of
work, with him.
California - I was born and raised in Oakland, California, and with that comes a lot of pride and love for my state and city. From the San Francisco Bay Area, I am close to the beach, the forrest, the mountains, and rivers. Being outdoors inspires me so much, and is a reset button everytime I get to leave the city.
